Personal Statement

My name is Tristen Hoge. I am from Pocatello, ID. I am 6'6" 290 lbs, and I play offensive center. I am in my Junior year in school, and my third season of starting center on varsity for the 5A Highland Rams. I played in the 7th grade Youth All American game, the 2011 8th grade Youth All American game, the Under 15 USA Vs Canada All American Bowl, the NFL USA All American Game, and just elected to play in the NFL U-17 All American Bowl . I have a 4.2 GPA, and involved in several school sports and activities. I also participate in track and field. I also keep a daily work out schedule and tecnique practices. Outside of school my interests are music/piano which I have played for 10 years and guitar which I have played for 4. I am looking for a school that fits my academic and athletic needs at any level. I am interested in pursuing Criminal Law, But i also  I have many other interests. I have a goal to play D1, but I will take the highest opportunity that meets my athletic and academic needs.  This last summer I have attended many camps around the country.  I first attended the FBU Denver Camp and recieved the Gatorade offensive MVP award.  Next I attended the USA U-17 All American Game in Austin, Texas.  After that was complete I attended the FBU Top Gun Camp in Williamsburg, Virginia.  The last camp that I attended was the IMG All Madden Camp in Sarasota, Florida.  I have been working out and practicing hard for my upcoming season which starts the 8th of August of 2012. Cant Wait!!!!!

     Just completed my 2012 Sophmore season, my second as starting Varsity center for 5A Highland Rams!  Had a very successful and dominating season earning 1st Team Max Prep Sophomore All-American, 1st Team Army All-combine Offensive Team, 1st Team All-State All-Idaho,1st Team All-Region also was named to the Idaho Scholastic All-State Team. Started my off season training,  working harder than ever on and off the field!!
