Josh Erffmeyer '19 Recruiting Profile

I have always loved football and have played tackle football since I was six years old. In that time I have played every position at one time or another. I am an extremely versatile player and have always played wherever the team needed me.  For example as a freshman our JV team needed a QB.  Although this is not my natural position I took every snap of the entire season playing against sophomores in the Chicago Catholic league which is one of the tougher conferences in Illinois.  My natural positions are wide receiver and strong safety which I currently play.  My High School coaches are Dave Beebe and former NFL wide receiver Don Beebe. I have been taught to run routes from coach Beebe since 5th grade and I feel that having this type of coaching has really helped me to develop and has given me a great advantage. I have always wanted to play college football and whatever school I play for will get an extremely unselfish player who will do whatever is asked of me.  I will continue to strive to be the best both in the classroom and on the field.
