Personal Statement
Ever since I was 5 years old I have wanted to be in the NFL. My dad always had football on and I would sit there and watch every game on Sundays Mondays and Thursdays. When I turned 8 I started to actually want to play. So I went to my older brother's football practice and I would watch them. I went to every game and at 1 of the games I met Brain Urlacher. That made me want my dream even more. He was my favorite player. As I got older I noticed how much work it was going to be. But putting in work never stopped me. I never thought of giving up. I learned I have lots of motivation and drive. My academic goals for high school and collage are to get A's and maybe B's but I want straight A's. I did have hard times in my life though all this I have tourrettes and my parents had a divorce. I live with my mom and step dad. My real dad has huntington's disease and he used to always yell at me. My mom and I would have to clean the house and I would get yelled at by my dad as I was cleaning. So once I got old enough to go out and play with friends I would do that till dark. My dads side of the family always told me I was the devil child, but my mom always said I was the 1 of my 2 brothers that I have the most potential and I was the most helpful. I am always running around with friends playing back yard football. I always wanted to be a line backer and running back. I started playing tackle football in 5th grade. But when I actually got in pads my football coach said I should play on the line so I always been a D end. My dream is to make it to the NFL and be an inspiration and use my money for good things like donating to charities or to my high school. I want to play some football and I want the next generation to look up to me. I really love the game of football. Football is the only thing me and my real dad bonded over.
