My goal is to become a History teacher and Football Coach. I love sports, Football in particular. I have been playing organized football since the age of 9. Since starting football, I have played many positions. My father told me to play whatever position the coaches put me at. It was always important to me to be a team player. I try to always be humble on and off the field. I have learned in team sports it is always team first. I am fortunate to have the opportunity to attend a great college prep school like Marmion Academy. I believe this will give me the skills needed to excel in the classroom at the next level. Also, the leadership from the coaching staff and upperclassmen provide a natural mentoring environment. They take pride in seeing another student athlete succeed. I am a person that likes practice as well as the game. I just love being around football. The atmosphere of helping each other on the team translates to outside life as well. I am a part of the campus ministry at Marmion Academy. We volunteer our time to help others. Such as Special Olympics, Nursing home visits, as well as working with grade school children to name a few. It is important to understand that others need help, and it is our responsibility to help them. We help because it is the right thing to do, not because someone told us to.
