Jesus Jimenez '15 Recruiting Profile

I'm a bright student that's always willing to learn something new, always striving to be successful, and ready to take on the responsibility that comes with being a college student. Given the opportunity to attend college, in general, would be a huge step up for the Jimenez family. I would be the first to attend and, if I work hard, graduate with a degree of my choice. I’m a leader in everything I do.  On the field during a football game or rugby game, I am always showing leadership. Off the field, I am respectful and do my best to stay out of trouble. Though I used to be a troublemaker, I have progressed into a mature student-athlete. No one believed I could make it where I am now and I strove to prove every person who believed I would amount to nothing wrong. I have overcome diversity and know what it means to struggle in life.   No matter what, even if I fall, I will always get right back up to my feet. If I were to fall five-thousand times I would get up five-thousand and one times. I am not a quitter and will never give up on my goals of being successful in life. Everyone, up until now, has given me the tools to succeed and now it is my time to take full advantage of those tools and let everyone who put time into me and gave me second chances, see how much they really helped me in my success. I’ve done my thinking and I plan on majoring in criminology/criminal justice with a backup major of physical therapy. I would love to play football in college or even rugby because I love my sports and they have led me to being successful throughout high school.
