My name is Matthew Simpson and I am an honor student with a GPA of 3.9 and a SAT score of 1240. I am a well-rounded student. Not only do I excel academically, but I hold an appreciation for athletics and the arts. I am a starting member of the varsity football team where I have made All-Conference for two seasons and I also play varsity baseball.  I am a lead trumpet player for the jazz band and a member of the elite wind ensemble: the honors band at my school.  My future plans are to major in Math Education or an Economics field as I have a passion for them. I am  a teachable and disciplined player.  One attribute that singles me out from most other players is my ability to decipher and adjust to unexpected changes.  I am willing to contribute to the team in any way possible.
