Personal Statement
I aspire to be like Brett Favre. Brett Favre is my favorite quarterback. It’s always been my dream to play football in college and then hopefully go to the NFL. I always have watched college football. Football and school is my life. My parents have always told me school comes first. Then sports and everything else. So that’s how I’ve been handling things, school first then sports. But school has always been my motivator. School helps me keep my grades up and stay eligible. I’ve never been ineligible. What makes me different from other recruits is I have a very hard work ethic and when I put my mind to something I go and get it. And I don’t make my goals I go and make goals that are close and not as far away as they were before. My pastor told me one day that you have to dream in order to reach your goals. And I make goals that are reasonable like yes I would love to go to the NFL. But first you have to go to college and prove yourself there before you go to the NFL. And that’s what I have the drive to improve and I take criticism very well and I will work the best and try to work on what the coaches tell me to work on. My academics are good. I have made the honors roll this year. I keep a 3.4 or above GPA throughout the school year. My teachers are always complementing me and telling me that I did a great job. And my English 2 teacher can give you a letter of recommendation if needed and also my pastor said we would give a letter of recommendation too. I aspire to be like Brett Favre.
