Personal Statement
As a kid growing up I always loved the game of football. It was truly the game I fell in love with.I started to play at the age of 6 and never looked back. Every day I sacrifice time to always find a way to get better and to improve my game as a football player. My father was the greatest influence on my career because he can always pull the best of my ability out of me but also pushing me to where I am today by never giving up and not letting anyone out work you.
4 years ago, my team and I won the pop warner national championship at the highest level and was the first team in history to win back to back to back national titles. This truly impacted my life because it truly showed me that anything is possible and your dreams can be accomplished if you put the time and effort in.
As an Elk Grove football player it has taught me a lot of self discipline, courage, fight, and how to sacrifice something for the better of the team. Playing college football has been one of my biggest goals that I have ever strived for and willing to put all the time and the effort in to accomplish that goal.Finding a program that athletically fits me and academically fits me is very important. After all the years of playing football it has taught me and has shaped me into the person I am today. I have a good balance of training for football and on my school work. I think my leadership and my drive for football would be perfect for your program.
