Hi, my name is Harry Wright, Jr. My love and compassion would have to be the game of football. I play Running Back as my primary position. I've always been looked down on or doubted when it came to what I can do on the field just by looking at me. That's why I believe in the saying "Don't judge a book by it's cover," because if you give me the chance I will try my best to impress and also learn from others. My mom is Christine and she is my mother and father figure in my life. One of the only people that has and will always be there for me. I feel she does more than she needs to for me, but she thinks differently. She doesn't work because she's on disability and she gets a check every month for just her and I. Even though she only gets money for us two to live off of she still take cares of my older sisters. My mom is a soldier and I think that's where I get all my best attributes from. She has raised me to be the person I am today and never fails to impress me with the things she does. She loves seeing me play on the field when it comes to game time. She is my biggest motivation to be successful in football and if not football another career that I will pursue. I've got a drive that will keep me going and slacking is one thing that will not happen. I live for the game of football and will do whatever it takes to be a winner of the field, to my mom, and to myself. Ever since I was a kid I've dreamed of making it to the NFL just to play with the big boys and some people doubt me, but at the same time there's people thinking I can make it. I want to prove everyone wrong and I will do what it takes to do so. I try to be very close with my coaches and think of them as friends because then I know I can really be myself on the field and off the field. I'm a team player and I love the atmosphere of other athletes who want it just as bad as I do. Sophomore year I moved to Euless, Texas and played at Trinity High School. That was a great experience for me! I was doubted by people when I was moving there saying I wouldn't even touch the field. And my mom just told me to block all that out and go on the field and show them what you got. So I did they ended up loving me in Texas. That's just a little story about me overcoming some diversity and trash talk, but it shows that I keep pushing and working hard even when I'm doubted. In person I am funny, outgoing, and a caring type of guy. Love to meet new people and love to be on the field!
