At a young age, I began playing organized sports; first basketball, flag football, tackle football, and lastly track which came around sixth grade. I don’t know what drew me to sports, I knew I wanted to play; from watching college and professional games, to picking a few of my favorite teams by the time I was six years old.
From hours of practices to weekend tournaments, I’ve learned if you want to be better than the day before, you have to work harder; this is also true for my academics. Over the years I’ve learned how to be a better young man, athlete, teammate and leader. Not forgetting being humble, organized and managing my time as my parents remind me, education is first! The road isn’t easy, and I get tired, but I remember this is my dream!!
