Derek Ross '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Derek Ross, Let me start by saying I am a very dedicated person, and loves doing anything worth a challenge. When I train I'm one of the "first in, last out" type of players, always. I am very caring of others I attend The United Methodist Church where I'm from, I go on mission trips to help others who are in need, and love to support them, meaning I strive to make my teamates better in any way and every way possibe. As much as I love sports, my academics come first to me. My goal while preparing and playing this game is to be a constant problem for the opposite team. Because of my toughness and hard work I was one of four team captins my sophomore year, and I enjoy getting my teammates pumped for each game day. I come from a small school program. I do not know what my final desired major is yet. And last, my family does have a financial need, whcih may keep me from getting into some colleges i wish to attend. But this never keeps me from trying to push and work myself harder each day so that I may prove to coaches at the colligent level that I will work to be apart of yur program.
