Personal Statement
Why am I different from other recruits? Well, to start off with, I have a high academic mindset. In my family it has always been grades first then sports. I take my studies very seriously and it pleases me to get an A on a test as much as it pleases me to get a sack in a football game. Speaking of football, I was the leader of my sophomore football team this past year. I led them no matter what, whether it was getting the team rallied and hyped up before the game in the tunnel or making sure everyone is paying attention and preforming to a high level in practice. I have developed a mental toughness that has given me the ability to push myself even harder than before. Off of the field and not in the classroom I like to help out the community as a part of my local church youth group as well as volunteering for the Special Olympics. I try to carry myself to the highest standard on and off of the field because I want to represent not only myself, but my family and the team that I play for.
