Personal Statement
The Beast. That's what they call me on the football field. I think I received this nickname due to my consistent work ethic, hustle on every play, and determination to play both the O Line and D Line to the best of my ability. But, being a beast on the football field implies that I may be cocky or have a big ego. My attitude toward myself and the game of football is one of humility and respect for the coaches and other players. I work hard and know that there is always room for improvement and room to grow as a player and as a man. On and off the field, I try to be a positive influence and a leader that other players can look up to.
I think my nickname, "The Beast", also applies to my life off the field. I excel in all Honors Classes and possess the self-discipline to combine challenging academics with sports and extracurricular activities. I have grown up in a family and school environment that demands strength of character, leadership, and integrity. I am looking for a college and a football program that will continue to shape my life in a positive way and help me become a man that my team and my school will be proud of as I represent them.
