Hello future coaches,
I have been at high school football practices all my life from the day I was three. I grew up loving the game both on and off the field, whether that be from watching film with my father or filming practices as a young person. As a team member, I will bring hard work, perseverance, and integrity. For a team to grow, I believe it stems from trustworthiness both on and off the field. For example, trusting that your teammate watches film at night or shows up to the 6am morning workouts. As a linebacker, I will bring an aspect of competitiveness and energy while on the field. A team lives and wins on energy, and that is something I can be apart of. I am at the weight room everyday for 5 days a week and I lead the team while I am there. As a team captain, I have put the team first and I have never done anything to harm the team and I am always there for the team. I have earned All State Academic award because I am a great example of a Student-Athlete. A team cannot win if they are not working hard in the classroom and I will be the first one in the classroom ready to learn and the first one on the field ready to fight for better.
Thank you
Paul Zunkel
