Personal Statement
Making the IHSA playoffs as a sophomore, I was ecstatic. However, I learned quickly that good things often do not last as we suffered a hard fought loss in round 1. This particular game helped me come to the realization that there are no guarantees in sports. I became interested in football when I was roughly in second grade because of watching it on Sundays with my family. Through sports, I have learned the value and extreme emphasis of both communication and teamwork. My goals for both academics and athletics are to put in maximum effort day in and day out, to maximize my results. Being a 3-way starter (WR/OLB/KR/PR) as a sophomore and junior on varsity, I have the adaptability to play any position that the coaches need me to play.
