Challenge, as defined by the Oxford English Dictionary can be a “task or situation that tests someone’s abilities.” (OED, n.1.2)  

Throughout the various obstacles I have faced in life, I have always been good at recognizing and taking on challenges. While in some cases, I may have not performed as well as I would’ve liked to, I always persevered. Throughout high school, there were obstacles involving school, home, and extracurricular activities. These challenges never brought me to the point of submission and regardless of what is to come; I only envision growth. I always strive for the top and will not stop after high school. Over the course of months I have went from watching every game on the sideline my Freshman/Sophomore/Junior season to starting my Senior season as a Varsity Captain. A labral tear left me sidelined during the middle of the season but I was fortunate enough to come back after multiple therapeutic sessions to finish my last high school football game. I plan to compete at whatever level a coach may see me at. I ensure that my all would be put into any program that seeks a player such as myself.
