Jack Craig '17 Recruiting Profile

Hello potential coach, I am a Senior at ROWVA High School where I am a three year Varsity starter on the Mid-County football coop and a three year starter on the R/W baseball coop.  I was selected by my peers to lead my team as a captain for the third straight year.  Under a new coach we made the playoffs for the first time in five years.  In addition to my team's success, I was selected as an All Conference player on both sides of the ball and was named to several All- Area teams.  

I am ranked third in my class and love learning and the challenges it presents.  I maintain a 3.79 GPA and look forward to learning at a high level in college academics.  I have been on our high honor roll the past five semesters and continue to push myself in the clasroom.  

I love to put work into my sports and schooling and see the results that come from the hard work.  I enjoy being in the weight room and  getting better physically, so I know I have prepared myself the best I can.  Being able to set an example for my team and lead them though everything gives me great pride.  It is tremendously fulfilling to know I can help them become better athletes and people; I lead by example showing the rest of the team what to do, how to do it, and when to do it. 

When I go to college I look to play a big part of the team and am willing to work to earn my position.  I want to be apart of a winning team who is successful both on the field and in the classroom.  With work and effort I want to be a starter on that team and be a key player.  It would be a great honor to hold records for the school, but being on a team that is successful is just as gratifying.
