Lance Boozer, Jr. '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a beast out on a hunt for vengeance,  grasping every opportunity I can to right my wrongs. I've been playing full tackle football since the first grade. Throughout my high school and college experience of football I have played many roles and positions. My coaches all saw me as a flexible, coachable, and team player. Therefore I play multiple positions such as, defensive end, outside linebacker, and tight end. I was granted an opportunity to play for Southwest Minnesota State, but fell victim to what most young successful 18 year olds do...self destruction. I’ve counted my losses and I’ve quit feeling sorry for myself a long time ago. I am ready and if ever granted an opportunity I will be and have been prepared to make the most of it.

My parents have always told me "You get out what you put in" and "Don't be afraid to be excellent", and I now know what that means and apply it in my daily routines as a student-athlete. I believe I would be a great asset to any college football team because I am always looking forward to learning new things and applying my dedication on the field as well as in the classroom setting. I bring energy and zeal to the game. I am often looked upon to lift the team's morale and overall spirit. 

Due to my overall passion for the game of football and my dream to play at the collegiate and professional levels, I am open to geographical locations (with strong academic programs). I am a business major looking to apply all life’s teaching to a successful carreer. It is my desire to begin playing football in college at the highest competitive level possible.
