Personal Statement
Winning the Cahokia Conference and going undefeated for the first time in school history as a sophmore was the highlight of my high school career. However, I feel I grew the most as a student-athlete my junior year when our team didn't make the state tournament. That experience helped me grow as a person and lead me to re-focus my own efforts on becoming a solid running back and linebacker capable of playing at the college level. I have put all of my efforts into weight training and agility.
I am part of a building program, that we as captains are trying to build a hard-working work ethic for the teams to follow in the future. I learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership the year without many wins. I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program. As a two-sport varsity athlete for the past three years. I am currently proud to be one of four captains of the Varsity football captian. I know that I have what it takes to be a leader and game changer on your team!
