Personal Statement
I recieved roster spot offers from D2 and D3 schools for football. However, I decided to stay close to home at Illinois Central College, a community college located in East Peoria, IL to begin my college education. My 2019 Senior season unfortunately ended not the way I desired it to as I broke my fibula in week 9 of the regular season, ultimately resulting in being sidelined in a wheelchair during playoffs. The recover was a long and difficult one and I didn't feel like I was ready to contribute to a football team at a collegiate level yet as I definitely needed to get back into the person I was during season. Since I already began my education at this junior college, I plan on transferring to a 4-year school once I have the amount of credits needed. My junior college I am attending does not have a football program. I feel like I am personally ready to get back on the field and be the best player I can to help my team and give it our all week in and week out, no matter the result. I would love to walk-on to a team if given the chance to and find a new home and a new family at my new college, wherever it is I choose to transfer to. College football is always in consideration for me now that my body is healthy and 100%.
