Blake Schumacher '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Blake Schumacher. I stand 6 feet tall and weigh 180 pounds. I currently have a 3.0 GPA out of 4.0. I play cornerback at Carroll High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Off season I also play on a 7v7 team with AWP (Athletes With Purpose) and play nickel defense position. I'm a leader on and off the field for Christ.

This past football season as a junior I played cornerback and also played on special teams. I recorded 7 interceptions, 18 pass break ups, and 32 tackles. I earned 1st team all-conference, 1st team all Area, and honorable mention all state. I also helped my team win conference and sectionals. Off the field I am involved in two Christian small groups that meet weekly. I also lead a group of 5th grade boys on Sunday mornings at church.

My goals for this next season are to earn 1st team all state and to win sectionals and regionals. My overall goal is to earn a scholarship to a college that can provide me with a great education while allowing me to contribute to their football program. I also strive to improve my GPA in high school and into college.
