Jonah Mikel '15 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I was little I've always wanted to go to college on a football scholarship and play at the next level.  I've been told by many coaches I'm going to college for a education, and playing football is a benefit, due to this I have been striving even harder in the classroom as well as on the field and in the weight room, in order to be the best I can be.

My coaches are always telling me to leave my signature on the field and ever since, that has my goal every time I line up for a play/drill, or anything in life.  One of my favorite bible verse says "I can do all thing through Christ which strengthenth me" and after finishing my Junior season I was blessed to receive a 2013 Academic All-Conference Honorable Mention, 2013 1st Team All-Conference award, 2013 1st Team Rochester Sentinel All-Area award, a 2013 1st Team Junior I.F.C.A All-State award, along with being National Underclassmen's 2014 Mid-West 5star showcase TE-MVP, and most recently I have been inducted into the national honor society.
