Jarrett Smart '12 Recruiting Profile

It's the winter of my senior year and I am currently 6'1" tall and weigh 220 lbs. I always feel the most important accomplishments are team accomplishments. My Freshman year are team won 8 games in a row after starting the season 1 and 3. We ended up losing in the Sectional final to a very good team. I think the most important individual awards were making First Team Junior All-State as Sophomore and Junior, also getting invited to the Top 100 Midwest at the National Underclassman Combine. I also enjoy competing in the Spanish Quiz Bowl and being on the National Honor Society,Fellow Christian Athletes and Big Brothers/Big Sisters organization. I think there are several things that I can offer a college football program. First and foremost I have a passion and love for football. I work out 5 days a week in weight room, agility,speed and conditioning. I am a hard nose player who loves the physical part of the game. I think the best way to be a leader is to lead by example. I work hard on and off the field. I work hard in the class room and I stay out of trouble. I have dreamed of playing college football since 4th grade and I feel I have put myself in a position to play at the next level. I want to play for a college that is a good fit for me and has a good criminology program. I will play anywhere but It would be nice to play close to home. I want to get a college education so I can pursue a job as a US Marshall or work for the FBI. I also want to make my parents proud and be the first person on my dad's side of the family to get a college education. I truly want to be a part of a team that recruits good and hard working kids that want to win the right way. I want to experience success at the college level, both on and off the field.
