Personal Statement

I attend a small school in Southwest Indiana that plays football at an above average level.


I am proud to be part of one of the most competitive teams in 1-A football, and I take great pleasure in announcing that I am uncontested when considering the best of the offensive linemen North Central has to offer receiving a number of prestigious awards which include:

- IFCA All-State (OL)

- Indianapolis Colt's Academic All-State

- 1st Team All-Conference

- Academic All-Conference

- 1st Team All-County

- 1st Team All-Wabash Valley (Class 1A-6A)

- Wabash Valley All-Academic Team

- North Central's Lineman of the Year

- School Record: 109 Pancake Blocks

 

Our 2013 season went 8-3 with key losses to #1 Linton-Stockton and #3 North Vermillion.  With our 8 wins we accumulated a score of 540-275 against all of our opponents, and we went into the final game of the year ranked #10 in the state losing to #7 Rockville in the Sectional Semi-Finals.

 

I am in pursuit of a college capable of fostering the excellence I have begun to show in the classroom and on the field throughout my high school career.  I am interested in all levels of collegiate football, but in the end I will need some financial assistance to ensure my commitment.

I have made a habit of lifting 3-5 times a week and the papers wouldn’t mind reiterating it as I squat over 600 lbs. and bench over 300 going into my senior year—making the 1,100 lb. club in lifts bench, squat and power clean.

Also, as found on MaxPreps, I am blocking for the #60 rusher in the nation, Chase VanSchoyck who finished our season with 2396 rushing yards (12.68 per carry).
