Personal Statement
I believe I am the best kept secret in the class of 2023. Although I played my junior year on varsity, I had to grind and be patient and wait my turn to be the starting slot receiver my senior year. Ben Davis HS is a football power in Indiana and I had seniors in front of me my first three years. This taught me perseverance and how to stay focused. I did that and had a dream senior year. I know one year is a small sample size, but the sky is limit for what I can do if given the chance. I'm only getting better.
I played football, basketball, lacrosse, baseball, and track and field in high school. I have a love of competition and my drive has no limit. I think playing multiple sports has given me an advantage over other athletes mentally and physically. Meaning, having been exposed to different coaching styles and playing under different game situations. I'm a two-time national box lacrosse champion. All of these things I've done in my athletic career will aid me on the next level and help me succeed. I'm sure of it. Football is my passion and I can see myself contributing in multiple ways for my college team.
