Before reading, or viewing my profile in general. I have just transferred from Heritage Christian to Lawrence North High School. I apologize for any confusion caused by this.
Hey! I'm Ethan Strecker, but my friends call me Big E. I've been playing football since 3rd grade and I absolutely love the sport. I love how aggressive and fast paced it is, I love the unity of working as one on a team, and to be fair, I just love to hit. From past experiences in football I have learned that I won't always be able to reach certain goals easily. Losing a big thing like a championship, regional, or sectional is tough. But I have learned to persevere, no matter what. If I lose a matchup on the line, I get back up and keep trying. If I'm dog-tired, I keep going. I am a relentless player in this sport, and I don't know when to quit. I do my job as a nose-guard or left guard or center no matter the circumstances and I do my job well. Due to my determination, strength, size, and knowledge of the game, I believe I'm an essential piece to a defensive or offensive scheme. And the one thing that makes me different from any other recruit is... You'll never catch me lacking on the job, period.
My dreams for college and beyond are simple, I'd love to play for a D1 college football program but I am still in the recruiting process! And just maybe, I’ll get to play in the NFL. It’s been my dream since I was a little kid, watching JJ Watt and Aron Donald inspired me to pursue this sport. I want to play at the next level, and I'll do everything I can to make it happen.
Thanks for reading, and considering!
