Austin Martin '16 Recruiting Profile

I am looking to play college football if possible. In my upcoming senior year, my goal as a middle linebacker would be to average 10 solo tackles a game. During this offseason, most of my free time has been spent working with my track coach to develop my quickness and my strength coach to develop my explosiveness because that is what I need in order to perform at middle linebacker and fullback. I also have been gaining a lot of strength through developing my explosiveness. After each workout I run 2 miles on the treadmill to make sure I am maximizing my lung capacity as well as my air intake. I am a good candidate for your team because I push myself in academics and I put more time in the offseason than anyone else I have come across. I have a great deal of self motivation, because no one is pushing me to do these workouts except for me and my lifting partner which happens to be my nose guard Eddie Hardin. I have self motivation and determination to succeed in every task that is set before me. Right now in academics I am currently enrolled in AP chemistry, Honors Pre-calculus, and Physics based calculus math. These are in the top 5 hardest courses in my school and I have chosen to take them all on at once. On my final exams for these courses I scored a 97% in pre-calculus, 86% in AP Chemistry and 84% in physics based calculus.
