Personal Statement
Hi Coach -
I am currently a junior at Heritage Hills High School in Lincoln City, Indiana. I am a 2 sport athlete with love for both football and wrestling. Being versatile has been very important to me as I am always up for whatever challenge coaches throw at me to make the team better. I truly believe I am a player who can help your team succeed in meeting their goals.
For my sophomore and junior years I have earned a starting position in both football and wrestling on the varsity teams. I don't take lightly that I was chosen because of my hard work. I also know that if I don't keep with the same intensity, that my spot isn't guaranteed. I strive to put forth the effort that I know is needed to make myself better along with the rest of my team.
My academics are strong as I am consistently making the honor role with the status of Magna Cum Laude. I have challenged my self in the classroom by taking both AP and honors courses. My goals for post high school are to continue learning the life lessons of hard work, character, and integrity through sports and also the knowledge needed for life after college.
