Personal Statement

I started playing football at the age of 6. Since then I have had a strong passion for the game. I have played both sides of the ball since my first years in flag football. Staying in good athletic shape by being a multi-sport athlete helped me to improve my skills. I am a team leader on and off the field. I have been a defensive captain two years straight and team captain this past year. In wrestling, I was a captain all four years of my varsity career as well.  I also understand the importance of encouraging my fellow teammates to work harder and stay mentally focused. I am very coachable and work hard to accomplish what I am being taught. I have a strong drive for achievement and an inner motor for success.

I am wiling to review all options in hopes of finding the greatest level of competition possible. At the same time, education is a major concern for my future. Meeting these two requirements at the highest level possible is my ultimate goal. I give equal effort in my academic preparation as I do my football preparation. Thus, getting the opportunity to play college football would be a dream come true. I hope to make my coach, my team, my school and my family very proud. I have been selected first team all-state as a middle line backer this year. I have also broken the school rushing record with 1,750 yards and asked to play in the north vs south all-star game this year. I am willing to work just as hard to make a statement in my college play as well.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
