Personal Statement
I am a New Zealand athlete looking for an opportunity to play at the collegiate level. I know playing at the collegiate level is a once in a life time opportunity and if given the chance I would not take a second for granted and give my all on the field and in the class room.
I have been playing the game for four years and have been working hard everyday to get bigger, faster, stronger and to improve every aspect of my game. I am a team leader and take pride in encouraging my team mates and leading by example. I am a very coach-able player and try to take as much information from each coach and implement it into my game to help better myself as a player. I strive to be the hardest working player in practice and one of the hardest working recruits you'll find. I have also represented my country in international tests against Australia in the U19 world championship qualifiers. I took that as extra motivation to make sure I was always playing at my best and to my full potential and while take this motivation with me to the collegiate level. I want to make sure I am giving it my all in the classroom and on the field because I am driven to not be later seen as the one that tried but didn't make it more the guy that put his mind into everything and became successful.
