Jacob Baier '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jacob Baier. I am 6’3” and 255 pounds, and I am a starting varsity offensive lineman (left tackle) and defensive end for a large 4A school. I live in Ankeny, Iowa with my mom, dad, and younger sister. I enjoy throwing varsity shot put and discus and qualified for state my freshman, sophomore, and junior years. I like to lift weights, and I consider myself to be very strong. I have experience with other sports, such as basketball.

In my free time, I enjoy hunting and fishing as well as hanging out with my friends. My favorite school subjects are math and science, and I enjoy taking engineering and business classes. In college, I hope to continue taking these kinds of classes. Also, I want to continue to participate in sports in college, so I can enjoy that experience at the next level. I believe I could help your team because I am a hard worker and I am dedicated to making myself and my team better. I spend a lot of time outside of regular practice working to get better. I always give it my all and am respectful and responsible to my coaches and teammates.
