My goal for college would be, I would like to be a leader on and off the field by helping others with classes and being willing to give a 100% on the field. I think I am a good candidate because i am different from many other athletes. Every athlete has a story of difficulty in their life that proves themselves not as an athlete but as a person, here is mine. I like many others have grown up in a life of poverty, I have been around people who have made bad choices with their lives and my mother is in the hospital about once every two weeks with medical issues. But what I think has defined me as person is when I found out I could help my mom, and make my parents life easier by getting scholarships not only for my academics but also my athletics so from last year where I found out I was better than the average player I have put in many hours in the weight room and in the classroom I went from an average 3.0 student to a 3.8 student in just one semester. I also went from benching 185 to 275 over one summer and from 315 to 405 in squat. I think I am a good candidate because I am willing to do anything to succeed. Its not just that I want to succeed its also because I need to. As a person I was always kind of a jock as you would put it till about my junior when it changed I became more active in my school by tutoring others, community service, and even became an honor student. As a person I have grown as an athlete I have grown as a student I have grown. I would like to continuing growing at college in all three of these aspects. I may not be the most talented but "hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard" and I am willing to work hard to fulfill my dreams.
Thank you for taking the time to view my profile.
