Personal Statement
I love sports and especially football and track! I have always been told that I am too small or too short to play at the varsity level or the college level. I have proven to people that I can play and excel at the varsity level and look forward to the challenge of doing the same at the college level as well. My father is my head football coach, and coming from a coaching family, I know what hard work and determination means to an athlete. I have been working hard in the weight room and on the turf to improve both my strength and speed. I recorded a laser timed 4.65 in the forty yard dash, a 32 inch vertical jump, and a 4.0 hand-timed shuttle run at the Midwest Athletic Showcase Combine. I have also been working hard to improve my academics and have a goal of graduating with at least a 3.0 GPA. I am looking forward to the challenges that college has to offer me, both academically and athletically.
