Personal Statement
My name is Max Gangestad. I am a Junior at Clarion-Goldfield High School in Iowa. This past season we did something no team in school history has done, we won a playoff game and we went on to win a second. Being only the third team to ever go to the playoffs from our school we felt great about this accomplishment. And for our third playoff game this season we played in the UNI dome which is a great honor. I was selected to 1st team all-distritct and 2nd team all-state. I believe that none of this would have happened without my hard work. Throughout the off-season I lift and run almost everyday and I'm involved in track, basketball, and baseball. I have a 3.859 GPA. I am 6'1 220 pounds. I can run a 4.9 40 and can bench 315 pounds. I have always dreamed about walking onto a college field and seeing all the fans cheer for me and my team. As a player I think that there can be no better feeling then knowing that I am a part of a great organization and can help lead my team through my strength and knowledge. Give me that chance to play for your team and I will not let you down.
