I have been playing sports for as long as I can remember and I believe I can continue competing athletically at the collegiate level. I have been playing against older competition almost my entire career, and that will benefit me as I continue to progress athletically. I played on the sophomore baseball team as an eighth grader, and varsity as a freshman. In football I started on varsity as a sophomore, even playing both ways and on special teams in some games.
Even with the success that I have had on the field, I don't believe that is the most important part of being a student-athlete. I take pride in excelling in the classroom and leading my teammates both on and off the field. I never miss an offseason workout no matter the sport, and I strive to be the hardest worker in any sport that I am playing.
I believe that you should recruit me because I will be the hardest worker in your program in the classroom, weightroom, and on the field.
