Personal Statement
I've wanted to play college football at the highest level as long as I can remember. During high school I was not able to be on a championship team. However I think this taught me more lessons than I could have ever imagined. Through wrestling I learned to work hard, and that what you put into it is quite literally what you get out of it. When trying to sweat pounds of water off to make weight you really find out what your made of. The experiences I have had through wrestling and my offseason workouts truly helped me to become a bigger, faster, and stronger football player. I also learned the importance of leverages, how to control your bodyweight, and most importantly accountability. I firmly believe I have to hold myself accountable to be successful, and I apply this mindset to all of my workouts and academics. I am different from other athletes in my work ethic, my internal drive, and mindset. I use these skills to always be the hardest worker on the field. Being a good citizen is also important to my success. I enjoy giving back to my community, the community that pushes me to always do my best. Having an opportunity to play at the next level is the next step in my journey.
