Ross Wiertsema '18 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to become a high level college football player. I believe that my strong work ethic and drive will make me a good teammate. I started for my high school football team as a Sophomore at DT and also got some playing time at OT. I worked hard everyday in practice and improved throughout the season. I am currently starting at LT on offense and rotate in at DT on defense. This year, as a junior, I have seen my role increase to more of a leadership role because of the minimal experience of my teammates on the offensive line. During the offseason I spend my time lifting weights, attending football camps, and taking part in acceleration programs. I feel like I have a good strong character. I am raised on a farm, by hard working, christian parents. I have been apart of mission trips with my church. My GPA is 2.9
