Personal Statement
My goals are always changing and rising, but priority is to always strive to be the best i can be. I volunteer and should graduate high school with my silver cord. I am a big brother in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. Being a role model and giving back to the community is very important to me. My schooling is a high priority for me. Through my academics, graduating high school, and going to a prestigious college I will be able to follow my dreams of becoming a doctor. My plan is to keep my GPA as high as possible for the rest of my high school and into my college career.
On the football field I have started every game since the beginning of my Sophomore year at OL. My sophomore year we were 9th in the state of Iowa for rushing yards in a season at 4052 yards. My junior year, almost our entire offense line graduated, so we had a rebuilding year and only rushed 1967 yards. I received many individual awards my junior year including Class 2A District 5 OL MVP, 1st Team all eastern Iowa, 1st Team Burlington Hawkeye, 1st Team All Area Muscatine Journal, and 3rd Team All State. I am a team player taking much of the team to and from practices and lifting sessions. My coach called me the coach on the field.
My hope for my senior year is to help the team make playoffs and help make the team the best it can be. As an individual I hope to repeat and build upon the awards I have previously received. I plan of going to many football camps this summer to try to get myself ranked and to get myself in front of as many schools as I can. I strive to be the best at everything I do and I don't give up. If you choose to recruit me know that you are going to get a good student, a great football player, and a even better person. I want to be a role model for kids and help your program be the best it can be! Thank you for reading
