Zach Trudo '19 Recruiting Profile

I know what it takes to succeed by working hard, weather that's in the weight room or the practice field, and I willing to accept any challenge. I live on a small Iowa farm which really started my work ethic and how I go with life; work for what you get.  Football has always been my favorite sport and I have always had an unimaginable passion for it, however it has not always been easy for me. I started my freshman year as very short, skinny kid. I was always undersized and wasn't successful at all. Luckily I had a great friend who drove me to the wright room everyday before school, giving me a great opportunity to get bigger, faster, and stronger.  As I took the opportunity and got stronger, I started to become the guy my team could relay on when it can to making the key catch or tackle. By the time my senior year was finished, I led the district in receiving yards, field goals, and tied for most interceptions. Those earned me First Team All District Awards in receiving and kicking. I hope to continue playing football in the next level and just ask for a chance at the wonderful opportunity.
