Garrett Mleynek '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Garrett Mleynek. I am a junior at Panorama high school in Panora, Iowa. I am 6' 1" and I weigh 187 pounds. My 40 time was recoreded at Iowa State this past summer at 4.69. I was named second team all district quarterback my sophomore year and second team all district cornerback my junior year for district seven, class 1-A. I helped my football team receive its first district co-championship in 2010. In 2011, I helped my team go undefetaed in the regular season.  We were district champions and made it to the second round of playoffs.  Since becoming a starter, my record in football is 18-2. I have an excellent work ethic. I have perfect attendance to all weight sessions and 7 on 7 passing practices/games/etc. I believe what sets me apart from the others is the desire to play and win. When I get on the field its nothing but 100% effort and determination from the start. As of right now, I am looking into the medical field, along with business as my intended major.  My goals for the next years to come are to lead my team to a state championship and earn a scholarship to play college football.
