Personal Statement
My goal is to attend a four year college to study agriculture or business. While a pursing my education, my greatest aspiration is to play football Ever since I can remember, I have loved playing the game and have wanted to play. at the college level. I have played competitively since the 7th grade. During my early experience I had the opportunity to play a variety of positions, that have included running back, quarterback, linebacker, safety, fullback, and tight end. Since being moved up to varsity as a freshman, my primary position is running back and linebacker. However, I am always willing to help out the team and play any position my coach may ask of me if it will help my team. This year, I have played on our punt and punt return special teams. I have really enjoyed the extra experience and the opportunity to help out my team in a different way.
As a student athlete, I believe I would be a great addition to your team. I currently hold a 2.9 GPA and am really working hard to bring this up to a 3.0 or higher. I have a strong attendance record. I am committed and dedicated to the game and continually strive to improve my athletic ability both on and off the field. I am a part of a lifting program. I am also member to our varsity basketball team playing the position of starting forward and baseball team playing the position of starting center fielder. I am also on our track team. and in the off season participate in AAU basketball and attend football camps.
I have grown up in a small rural community on our family farm. I understand the value of hard work and community that has helped to build strong work ethic and character. I am a member of our local Future Farmers of America (FFA) Chapter and have been appointed to represent our school on the Student Athlete Leadership Team.
