Personal Statement
My ultimate goal is just to keep playing football for a school that wants me and would help me get a good degree. I may not seem like much of a prospect at 5 foot 5 and only 155 pounds but that didn't stop me during my high school career. This year as a senior at North Linn I started at middle linebacker and racked up 56.5 total tackles which lead my team and was 6th in District 1A-6. I was also named 2nd Team All-District Linebacker and All-District Academic Team. I play with heart and at my hardest, which my coaches can attest to, so no matter where I play, or how much, I will give it my all every play. I am always a team player first because football is a team sport and we all have to play for each other. I am a strong student having a 3.8 GPA and have been taking college credit classes since freshman year in high school. I care about my grades and being able to get my degree in college to be able to make a life for myself. I have always had a great love for the sport of football and I hope to continue to play and contribute to the sport at the college level.
