I consider myself a hard-worker, as well as a very accurate and well-rounded kicker with a goal to play at the college level after high school. In the 2020 regular season, which was shortened due to a derecho storm that hit our state, I was selected as the special team’s player of the year. I went 13 out of 14 on PAT’s and 3 for 3 on field goals, all of which were approximately 30 yards out. I played varsity in my 2021 and 2022 high school seasons, continually increasing my accuracy and improving my form. I have been weight lifting consistently for over five years, working hard now to improve my strength and increase my current max range of 45 yards.
I am a three sport athlete. I’ve played soccer for 10 years, eight of those years through an Iowa soccer club, CRSA. I missed out on playing high school soccer my freshman year because of COVID. I can play all over the field, and I am a team-minded person. I also am on the high school bowling team during winter months.
In regards to my field of study, I plan to study mechanical engineering. I am attending a four year university that will help me achieve a great education, as well as play the sport I love. I am active in my church and Boy Scouts, receiving my rank of Eagle Scout last summer. Scouting, along with education and participating in sports, has taught me to work hard to accomplish my goals.
