Personal Statement

I am a hard working student athlete that aspires to play at the FBS level for a power five conference school. I currently hold an offer from Iowa State and expect more offers to follow in 2016/2017.  247 Sports ranks me 680th in the country, 62nd as an OT and #4 in the state of Iowa. Scout ranked me the 14th OG in the country. Iowa Preps (Rivals) ranks me the #2 player in the state of Iowa. I pride myself on being a good leader on the field and in the classroom. I enjoy competition and I'm always working to improve. I've built a solid resume but know I have a lot of work ahead of me to reach my full potential.

  • Marek Wensel is a highly accomplished track athlete and coach. He coaches and trains some of the most successful athletes in Iowa. His daughter Peyton (14) is one of the best track athletes in the country at the Varsity level. Marek helps me with my speed and agility along with the mental aspects of training and competing.
