Being on the football team during my freshman year and being able to travel to every game with the Varsity team was a great experience. I didn't play Varsity my freshman year, but I got to travel with the team. A big accomplishment for me was being able to stay on top of my grades throughout the season and handling school and football at the same time. We didn't make it through the second round of the playoffs my freshman year. After seeing that, I put my focus on being able to get out there and help the next season. The summer going into my sophomore year, I got a spot on Varsity. My focus is now to go out every game and make every play count. Although I don't have the title of captain yet, I think I am capable of becoming one because I will always strive to be a leader on the team without or without the title. My goal for high school is to finish with at least a 3.7 GPA every year and be able to carry on my football career at any college program.
