Currently, my goal is to obtain a college education while participating in the sport of football . I am a 3 year letterman at Goodland High School. As a Junior I played wide receiver and defensive back and received All League honors at both positions in a very competitive league. In May of 2014 our head coach resigned. His son had been our starting quarterback for the past two years and would have been our quarterback for the 2014 football season. As the senior leader of our team I decided I would learn the position of quarterback as no one had any experience with the position. As a first season quarterback in the 9 games our team played I passed for 1667 yards and rushed for 706 yards. My average yard per carry was 7.3 yards. I was moved to Safety and was the second leading solo tackler on the team. I recently received All League honors as 1st team All Purpose player and Honorable Mention Defensive Back and all state division 4A II honorable mention quarterback and defensive back. I am a versatile player and am capable of playing a variety of positions. Hard work and learning new positions, offenses and defenses does not scare me. I love a challenge!
Academics is a priority of mine as well as giving everything I have to the sport that I love. Currently I have a 3.5 grade point average. Excellence on and off the field is what I have always strived for. I want to earn a bachelors degree while continuing to be apart of a team.
