Israel Newby '21 Recruiting Profile

     Hello! My name is Israel Newby I was born in Florida, grew up in Hawaii, and moved to Kansas at the age of 13. My parents are dual military currently serving in the Army. Ever since a young age I wanted to play Professional football. I grew up participating in multiple sports such as soccer, basketball, track and field, gymnastics, and football. I fell in love with football, so I shifted my focus solely to football, playing on inner-city leagues teams, tackle and flag from elementary and throughout high school to perfect my craft. I know I have to take it one day at a time so even making it to the college level will be a huge milestone in my career, but I want to take my game even further with the help of those that can help me do that along the way.

     I am discipline, dedicated, and a hard worker. I look forward to being a great asset to a team that is willing to have me play for them and I would be honored to do so. I consider myself a very versatile running back. I am a dual threat in both the running and passing aspects of the game. For me, actions speak louder than words, I lead by example and let my actions do the talking. I can be verbal when need be, but I would rather show than tell. I will also do everything in my power to get the job done and put out 110% effort.

     My goal is to find the college/university that is the best fit for me and to continue playing at the highest level possible. I will continue to work hard to perfect my craft and showcase my talent in hopes of continuing my football career. I will contribute everything I have to my team, both academically and as a football player. I have played team sports all my life which has equipped me to be a team player, work well with others, and understand team concept. I would like to continue to gain as much experience as I can and continue to grow as an athlete and become best that I can be. My ultimate goal is to play the sport I love at the highest level possible. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me.
