I have been under the recruiting radar working on my game as a starter for a couple years on our JV team. We ended up getting a new head coach, installing a new offense over the summer and I was given the chance to compete for the starting spot. We were a young and inexperienced team that is at the early stages of rebuilding a program. I ended up throwing for over 2,000 yards, being named honorable mention in our league and state. I was also the player of the week in Kansas. I am targeting schools where I will be a great fit academically and athletically. I had to earn playing time, work through program challenges and coaching changes. If you are recruiting players like that I would be a great fit.
My youth football coaches always stressed being:
A good person
A good student
A good athlete
I will carry that with me into college and through the rest of my life.
