I am looking to attend a top academic institution while at the same time playing football at the collegiate level. Currently a junior, I am the top-ranked student in my class, taking a full AP course-load, scored a 33 on the ACT in the December 2018 test, and hold various leadership roles in both school and community. I believe my profile will demonstrate my personal commitment to being a highly well-rounded person.
As a football player, I have been a two-way starter for two seasons with my primary position at defensive end. I have worked very hard to commit to peak physical conditioning, and I have experienced substantial strength, weight, and muscle mass gain over the past 2 years, while at the same time maintaining cardiovascular fitness and stamina. I have played defense in 4-3, 3-4, and 3-5-3 schemes, playing both read and gap control roles. I have had extra training in hand sparring and it has resulted in substantial production against both run and pass.
I love the game and would be excited about the opportunity to play at the next level.
