Personal Statement
My senior year I performed at 6'3" and 272 pounds as one of the youngest in my class. My birthday is August 18, 1993. I will only be 17 when I graduate. You will have the opportunity to help me finish growing in the proper way. Physically - I am still growing and although my size is above average - I am rather quick for my build and committed to improving my footwork so I may excel at the next level.
One of the greatest accomplishments in my high school football career was my sophomore year. I was working to earn a starting spot on a line full of seniors. I was the only sophomore to compete for a starting spot on the line. As the season progressed, I had the fortunate opportunity to start over 6 juniors and seniors.
Entering my junior year, I earned a starting spot on both offense and defense and earning my starting positions was a major accomplishment. Also,my senior year, I was chosen to play in the Greater Louisville East West All Star game where I played center every play and had 7 flatbacks.
Personally, I will offer a team a player whose motor never stops, is committed to improving, and goes to the whistle on every play. I will be a leader in the classroom and on and off the field. My character and integrity will never be questioned by the coaching staff, my teammates, my professors and or my peers.
My desire is to earn the opportunity to play at the D1 next level. I am relentlessly committed to playing football at the next level and will work tirelessly to obtain that opportunity.
Currently I have two brothers in college and my mom is working on getting her masters. Education is a vital foundation to me and my family. I am paying for my own education, so a scholarship is a high priority for me. Currently, I desire to major in communications and computers, and possibly criminal justice or engineering
Thank you for taking the time to view my profile and I am open to any and all advice on getting better and improving my technique. So, any and all feedback will be very much so appreciated.
